Below are a few examples of completed projects that enable our clients to understand the types of works that we have been involved with in recent months.

EAST LONDON

c/o MACE, Former Westferry Printworks, Westferry Road, Isle Of Dogs, London, E14

Working with our client we undertook the on site processing and removal of 50,000m3 of Made Ground, followed by the removal of a further 84,000m3 of Clay from the basement construction for this project, the largest residential project in London at the time. The works involved the hand picking of fragmental Asbestos, reduction & removal of hydrocarbon impacted soil, reduction and removal of creosote impacted soils, removal of Japanese Knotweed and grid form retesting of the entire site (15 acres). In addition we were instructed to treat and remove contaminated ground water using an on site treatment facility.

Working with our client we successfully broke out and crushed the existing concrete slab. We then removed the Hazardous Hydrocarbon Impacted Samples before we began our 18,000m3 of Non Hazardous Muck Away from the basement construction and a further 7,700m3 of Ballast which was tested in accordance with the MMP for use within phase 2 of the works. After the engineers redesigned the levels on phase 2 we were instructed to remove an additional 350 loads over a 10 day period to achieve the programme completion date.

Working with our client we successfully removed 1,700 loads of Non Hazardous Muck Away at a rate of 1,200m3 per day. After the archaeological team had carefully taken their samples from the two basements, we supplied 160 loads of Recycled 6F2 and 50 loads of Type 1 Crush over a 5 day period. During the watching brief works we removed 300 tonnes of Hazardous Fragmental Asbestos Mixed Soil to one of our recovery sites.

Working with our client we successfully removed 27,000m3 of Non Hazardous Muck Away, followed by in excess of 19,000m3 of Inert Spoil from this residential development. Due to on site contractor deliveries we had to meet an extremely specific programme meaning we could only remove material 3 days per week – at 600t per day, as well as night shift working.

Working with our client we successfully removed 600 loads of Non Hazardous Muck Away from this residential development. This project had to be undertaken between 0930-1430 due to a local school requiring the road to be clear. Once the main dig was completed, we removed a further 90 loads on our fleet of grab lorries.

Working with our client we successfully removed 400 loads of Non Hazardous Muck Away, as well as 1,300 tonnes of Crushed 6F2 Aggregate, in line with CLAIRE protocol, from the demolition works. In addition, our isolated hot spotting of Hazardous locations reduced the Hazardous loads by 25% during our phase one investigations.

Working with our client we successfully removed 700 loads of Non Hazardous Muck Away from this residential development. During the deeper excavation works of the basement, we removed a further 2,000 tonnes of Ballast.

Working with our client we successfully removed 600 loads of Inert Muck Away from the basement construction of this residential development. We also supplied 2,000 tonnes of 6F2 for the piling mat construction and a further 400 tonnes of Reject Sand for the drainage works.

Working with our client we successfully removed 2,000 tonnes of Non Hazardous Muck Away during the first phase of works. We then assisted with the pile attendance to remove a further 50 loads of Inert Muck Away and then 350 loads from the basement excavation.

Working with our client we successfully sampled and removed 400m3 of Incidental Asbestos Mixed Muck Away before providing validation samples. We then removed a further 8,000m3 from the basement construction of the three main blocks.

Working with our client we successfully removed 400 loads of Non Hazardous Top Soil Away over a 13 day period before removing 250 loads of Mixed Muck & Roots Away from the playing fields.

Working with our client we successfully removed over 1,000 loads of Inert Muck Away from this residential development. At it’s peak we were removing 900 tonnes per day.

Working with our client we successfully removed the Non Hazardous Spoil before carrying out the reduced dig of 3,000m3. In addition, we also supplied 20mm Quarried Shingle for the drainage and 60 loads of Recycled 6F2 for the initial piling mat construction.

Working with our client we successfully undertook the removal of 11,000m3 Inert Material Away from the basement of this brand new construction of student accommodation.

Having serviced the job efficiently during phase 1 of this scheme, we were asked to undertake the package of removing a further 6,000m3 Inert material from phase 2 of this project. We began by removing stockpiled material using our fleet of Grab Lorries because the machines on site had other duties to fulfil. After the excavators became free we managed to sustain 15-20 loads per day until the site was cleared.

Working with our client we successfully undertook the removal of 1,300m3 of Muck Away. We then supplied 600t Type 1 Crush as well as 1-200t of our Recycled Shingle to be used for pipe bedding around the building.

Working with our client we successfully removed 170 loads of Non Hazardous spoil away in grab lorries due to restricted access. We also supplied over 2,000t Type 1 Crushed Concrete for use underneath the permanent roads and pathways around the site.

Working with our client we successfully sourced an appropriate Top Soil to be used across all of the back gardens at the rear of the new build properties. In total we supplied 947m3.

Working with our client we supplied our latest 14t Tracked Excavator to undertake the on site segregation and then we removed 1,100m3 of Non Hazardous Soil to our Recycling Centre in Essex.

Working with our client we removed 2,700m3 of Inert Clay from this basement dig. Every load was removed via Grab Lorry as the excavation went down 5 metres and so the spoil had to dumpered up to the car park.

Working with our client we were able to assist in split classifying the samples into Inert and Non Hazardous. Over a period o 8 working days we removed over 125 loads of Non Hazardous spoil and a further 10 loads of Inert material.

Working with our client we successfully undertook the removal of over 1,400 loads of Inert Muck Away with an average output of 700t per day at its peak. The site had 2 piling rigs producing wet material which was subsequently stockpiled to dry before being removed.

Working with our client we removed over 200 loads of Non Hazardous spoil from the Made Ground during phase 1 of the works. We were then brought back in to undertake the the 4,000m3 reduced level dig following the results of our soil sampling.
